Large Paintings

This painting is also 30 x 40. It's title is "Psychologist With Shotgun". This was painted from a friends photo and was drawn in freehand and painted over two days. I prefer its freshness over the more worked over Ballerina.

Large paintings

I have done very few large paintings. They are not just small paintings enlarged but rather are a host of new issues to tackle. I took this photo in 2009. I painted a 14x18 study, gridded it and painted a 40x60 inch canvas. I painted this over a month and many sessions.

Heads and figures.......sigh....the obsession persists.

Well its March and this is my first post of the year. Although I have been remiss in my posting, I have been painting up a storm. I continue my plan on one still life a week.
